-girls were taught value and received limited military training

-woman ran family estates and there goal was to make warrior babies

-classical art values harmony, beauty, and proportion
-sophia means wisdom
 
-drama was invented as an art form
-believed that uiverse had unchanging laws, this challenged Gods and Goddesses existence
   
-Socrates taught Plato who taught Aristotle
   
-Aristotle came u with scientific method
